SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – There is an emergency closure of the #1 (left) lane of southbound Highway 17 at Sims Rd. due to guardrail repair. Significant delays of 20 minutes are expected. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes. Estimated time of opening is 2 pm.
